Ashlyn Tersigni

Co-Owner, Physical Therapist Assistant, Strength & Mobility Coach

I am from Leominster, MA. A little background on me: I went to Salve Regina University in Newport, RI, where I majored in both biology and chemistry. I was indecisive between applying for medical school or physical therapy school. However, after spending my summers at home interning in an outpatient PT practice, I knew physical therapy was where my heart was happy. After graduating from Salve Regina University, I took some time off before attending Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner, MA, for Physical Therapist Assistant. Once I graduated and was able to start carrying my own caseload, I was more than at home with my chosen career path.

I’ve been a practicing PTA since 2015. I specialize in sports injury, pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pain, as well as in the foot and ankle as it pertains to optimal function. I am an enthusiast for health and wellness. I want to get my patients back to their maximum functional potential without pain and without limits.  Therefore, I am always trying to learn more to broaden my skill set to help my patients. I am Level 1 Certified Functional Strength Coach and Level 1 Certified Barefoot Training Specialist.

Some interesting things about me are I enjoy working out, hiking, kayaking, fishing, gardening, snowshoeing, and basically anything that keeps my active and outdoors. My home away from home is Newport, Rhode Island. I am an animal lover- I have two of the fluffiest cats, Mila and Cannoli, and the most precious dog, Haven Grace. I am a bit of a nerd as I enjoy reading books of all kinds. I am always trying to learn more and acquire more skills.

I am confident the right person to help you get started towards taking steps to maximize your potential and start living your pain-free life.

Sarah Clayton

Co-Owner, Physical Therapist, Strength & Mobility Coach.

I grew up on the cape playing various sports, but my original passion was basketball. I played 4 years of college basketball at Simmons, serving as captain for 2 years.

It wasn’t until about 2012 that I discovered my true love, which is rugby! I am the current Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Worcester Shamrock’s Women’s Rugby Football Club and an active player.

I was exposed to physical therapy early on due to sports injuries, which piqued my interest, and I never looked back! I am passionate about health, wellness, and functional fitness. I have earned a CSCS, Level 1 CFSC, and Level 1 Certified Barefoot Training Specialist and make continuing education a top priority to best serve my clients. I specialize in treating chronic pain, the foot and ankle, and pelvic floor dysfunction.

I love helping people tune into their bodies and empowering people with the tools they need to live a healthy, pain-free life. I truly believe that we shouldn’t place limits on ourselves, and when provided with the right tools, any goals are possible.  I am a well-rounded clinician capable of treating adults and adolescents with many diagnoses, from simple orthopedic to involved neurological. I specialize in foot function as it relates to all injuries.

Amanda Cote

Physical Therapist

I grew up in Northborough, MA and stayed in MA for my undergrad and graduate degrees- I am a local girl! I grew up competitively dancing, as well as playing lacrosse, and briefly a cheerleader. These year round activities lead to ankle injuries & low back pain- and my introduction to Physical Therapy. I fell in love, and pursued PT from there. My undergrad was at UMass Amherst where I majored in Kinesiology and minored in Psych. I continued to dance through college, and was a Cpt of a dance team on campus which I promoted to a RSO- Stage Crew Dance Team. I then went to MCPHS University for my Doctorate of Physical Therapy.

Currently I am a Neuro Outpatient Physical Therapist, and I am also an Adjunct Professor at MCPHS Univ teaching Neuro. I am a Physical Therapist who is passionate about meeting patient’s goals. What is important to you is important to me. I am Neurologically focused in my current practice, my niche is post-stroke recovery and gait training. However, do not fret! Due to my years as a dancer, and athlete, and continuing education- your athletic rehab is safe in my hands. I believe in a whole body approach, everything is connected! Your body is capable of so much more than you may realize. I will keep our sessions interesting, and your Home Exercise Program tailored to you. I look forward to meeting you!

Bridget Vaglio

Physical Therapist Assistant

I grew up in Holden and graduated as a PTA in 2008. I began my career working as a therapist in acute hospital settings and loved being able to help people recover after what was often very difficult injuries and times in life. My exposure to a variety of injuries and patient scenarios has allowed me to understand the complexity of our medical system and the frustrations that come along with it.

Along with hospital settings, I’ve worked in subacute rehab facilities and outpatient clinics. In 2016, I earned a certificate as an RYT 200 yoga teacher and began teaching in gyms, college campuses, karate dojos, yoga studios and rock climbing facilities. My yoga practice has taught me of the intricacies of breath work as well as mindfulness with movement.

During the pandemic, I was laid off from my job and spent a season of time being a stay at home mom to our two little ones. When I could take time away from the family, I snuck away for additional learning and earned certificates in yin yoga, prenatal, restorative yoga as well as certifications as a Tune Up therapy ball practitioner, Level 1 Barefoot trainer certification and Level 1 certified functional strength coach. I also hold a degree from Cocomelon Academy and Bluey Univerity thanks to my kiddos!

I love to be active: running, yoga, hiking, handstands, rock climbing and weight training are all ways I like to occupy my time. I also love going to concerts, singing, traveling, reading and making stained glass.

I have now found myself here at Clash PTHS and am thrilled to share what my knowledge and experiences have taught me. As I take the time to listen to your story, let’s see how we can work together to help better your recovery experience.

Tiffany Goldsmith

Administrative Assistant

I grew up in Saugus, MA and went to Bentley University, where I earned by Bachelor’s Degree in Finance with a Minor in Management. In 2006, I started my career as the Assistant Controller of Finance and Accounting for Marriott. While I enjoyed this role, I felt as if something important was missing. I followed my heart and decided to join the Sales/Event Management Team. This position was a better fit for my personality and enabled me to build long lasting relationships with both coworkers and customers. Throughout the next 10 years
with the company, I become a Regional Manager, where I represented 72 hotels in four markets. All the while, big changes were happening personally. I met my husband and moved to Central MA where I continued my position remotely. In what feels like the blink of an eye, I became a Mom to three children and was blessed with the opportunity to stay at home with them while Bookkeeping for our family electrical business.

This time at home taking care of my family has helped me to discover my passion for Holistic Healthcare. I find it fascinating to learn how the holistic approach favors prevention over treatment and enables us to uncover the cause for illness or pain without the use of prescription medication or surgery. The body is designed to heal itself. It is that simple!

Some things I enjoy are group fitness classes, skiing, and spending quality time with myriends and family. I love the beach and enjoy spending time at Cape Cod over the Summer. My experience in the hospitality industry coupled with my passion for kinesiology and holistic healing makes this position with Clash Physical Therapy a perfect fit!
